Spring is Near

[Okay, I think — I hope — we’ve got it almost licked. The trusted commenter feature is working, and Textile allows links in comments. Still working on photos in the comments, but meanwhile, post away! Thanks. —Giles]

The publisher’s catalogs have been flooding in, which means the spring season is drawing near. What titles have you designed for the upcoming season? Let’s have a little show and tell, post a cover or two so we can put a name to the face book when we see it on the shelves.

So, it’s not a book for a catalog, it’s a catalog of books. Hope that’s okay. (It’s also a draft, so please forgive the blank. It’s a kids’ version of this, if you’d like to compare.)

Okay, it seems that the system will strip out the HTML necessary to post pictures in comments. You can, however, post links.

Post the image somewhere (including here, if you’re a Foreword editor), and link to it using the Textile linking shortcut:

” link name ” : path-to-url

Without the spaces, except that the url must be followed by a space.

Give it a shot! Thanks.

Ok, let’s give this a shot, I’ve got two titles coming out this spring:

First up is Marley Legend, a biography of Bob Marley’s life, featuring removable special features.

Next up is Cube Chic: Take Your Office Space From Drab to Fab!

One of my older books, NASCAR Vault has been picked up by Chronicle (it had previously sold only through Books A Million). This is another special feature book.

As with all my books, I did cover and interior design for all of the above. I say this because some people (like my mom used to) seem to think all I do is design covers.
