I don’t know, J. I think that I like the third one but it feels sort of 1995ish.

I assume you mean the white, French cover?

Bo-ring. It tells me nothing about the novel - not that every cover has to (one of my favorite covers is the original “Catcher In The Rye”), but to have something that bland and horsey for such an evocative novel is a missed opportunity, imo.

I don’t have any way of putting the picture online, but my copy is lots of concentric circles. It’s pretty ugly. This is a Faber&Faber edition from 1978
