Oh, the new trade cover for Frank Schaeffer’s Zermatt is soooo much nicer than the clothbound jacket.

Ann Weinstock is the designer.

Comments:

First, I need to say, I’ve not read this book. However, from the flap copy, the hardcover design seems more fitting.

Ann Weinstock’s paperback series design works well for a series. But, this one is sexless, not repsentative of a sexual-coming of age story (all too much like my own Nazarene up-bringng.)

Wait, is this post sarcastic? Please say so.

Really? You guys don’t like the cover? Huh.

I do not actively dislike the cover (although I’m not fond of it in any way). It’s just that I do really like the hardback design.

The font used on the clothbound jacket for Frank Schaeffer is very cool. Does anyone know that font this is?

I found out the name of the font, it’s called “Fox” by t26.com.
