I keep looking at this cover and the typography just seems a little off. Does it work for anyone else? I want to like it but, I don’t know…

I agree with Amanda - it looks like the author’s name defaulted to Courier…

Actually, the more I look at it, the more I think it’s in need of a second draft, as well — the color matching between the obviously-outside little girl and the obviously-not-outside Einstein needs some work. And the typography.

I want to like it, too. It’s a great idea.

I strongly disagree with you about the color matching.

Perhaps the title did default to courier. I think that you’re right. I don’t know how the designer could justify it.

And, curiously enough, I agree with the bad type treatment in this cover. At first sight I loved the photograph and the title (placement and type)so much, I guess I did not even notice the authorīs name and some other elements scattered around. It looks odd. Not the color though. The atmosphere it creates is right on target IMHO.
